Chris joined the group in July 2018 as a full-time PhD student on a project funded by the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC). The project aims to develop a new questionnaire for measuring quality of life in women with metastatic breast cancer. Working under the supervision of Professor Galina Velikova, Dr Fatima Cardoso and Dr Kate Absolom, Chris will explore the various quality of life issues associated with metastatic breast cancer. Before joining the University of Leeds, Chris completed a BSc and MSc in Health Psychology at the University of Central Lancashire. His dissertation investigated whether participation in the national bowel cancer screening programme could be predicted by an individual’s health beliefs.
